Testimonials

"Folks, I am into my 6th heating season using wood pellets, but this is my 1st year using your pellets. I am extremely happy with your product for the following reasons:

 1. Way more heat output

 2. Ash content is half of what I am used to

 3. No sawdust in your bags

 4. Window film build-up is less and wipes off with a damp cloth. In the past I had to use an abrasive cleaner to remove film.

What ever your manufacturing process is, do not change it. You have the other pellet manufacturers beat by a mile."

-A Happy Customer, Conrad Racine, Westford, VT

"On the advise of Home & Hearth in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, I bought to sample two tons of your pellets for this season. I have owned a stove for a few years and used many different pellets but held New England Pellets as by personal pellet benchmark. You folks are my new heros! Burns hot and thoroughly, reducing my cleaning time, and is reasonbaly priced. Please keep up the good work!"

 -Steve Bush, Nottingham, NH

"This is my first year using your pellets and my second using pellets at all. Last year I tried several types from the Stove Depot to sort of get an idea of the differences. This year I bought three tons of your pellets from E.C. Crosby's and so far this is what I have seen as a comparison: I find much less dust in the bags and that is awesome!! I find that I have less of what I will call 'clinkers'. I find less residues in general in the burning pot. I do find your pellets smell good too!"

- Thomas Hoffman, Design Manager, Homestead Landscaping

"BY FAR, the 'Best Softwood Pellet' I have ever burned are these Vermont Wood Pellets. Actually, if you read my website's homepage, I have always been a fan of the west coast softwoods like Okanagan or Blazer and have made comments that mills over here or Eastern Canada are just simply not capable of producing a decent (clean, hot and long burning) softwood pellet. You and yours have proved me wrong. Great job and outstanding pellet!"

 -Administrator, www.woodpelletreviews.com

"I burned 80lbs of premium hardwood pellets against 80lbs of super premium Vermont Wood Pellets.  I found that the Vermont Wood Pellets projected burn time for one ton, would be 87.5 hours longer than one ton of the hardwood pellets."

 - Ted Elzey, Broker/Owner Century 21

“Having burned pellets for several years, we have found yours to be the best ever….. Low ash…. lots of heat and we’re using less of them. We’re cleaning the stove less often!”

- Trader Rick’s

“They were genuinely interested in my feedback. Not only that, they seemed genuinely interested in making a high quality pellet and getting it right the first time. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bag was a clean pine smell.  I was surprised by that, I am used to opening a bag and smelling a dusty somewhat wood/cardboard smell. It burn HOT and CLEAN.  There was very little ash from my weekend’s worth of burn and my burnpot had little if any carbon buildup.  I don’t have a stove thermometer so I am not sure if the temps were actually hotter, but they sure felt hotter. I haven’t burned many different brands, 4-5 I think.  These pellets are easily the best ”

- Big Jim II

I just finished my “Test” of Vermont Wood Pellets. I’ve tested all the brands around the country. ..found Vermont Wood Pellets to burn as hot or hotter than the Lignetics I’m using.  They have HALF the ash AND they were about $25 a ton less. Nice people over there too.”

 - A Blogger on Hearth.com

“I’m all about supporting the locals: the loggers, their truckers and the people at the new mill.  Vermont wood Pellets wood is grown here and its burnt here. Puts out far more heat than everything I’ve ever tried.”

 - Roy at Bond Auto Parts

“I've learned the hard way that there are a lot of poor quality pellets on the market that make the job of maintaining your stove a real pain. I've switched to pellets made by Vermont Wood Pellet Company.  I’m happy with high BTU….low dust and they’re priced right. I’ll never use any other pellet in my stove again!”

- Steve Fenn, local architect

“We are lucky to have the first pellet mill in the state locate in North Clarendon.  They are best pellets I have ever used: less ash… better heat… less cleaning time"

- Selectboard member Mike Klopchin

“Ash is very, very low.  Clinkers and carbon buildup seem low, so far. The Energex are very good but the Vermont Wood Pellets really seem to be great.  Really, really great.  And local jobs.”

One customer came in 11/2/10, with the ash that was produced from burning a half ton of Vermont Wood Pellets in his pellet stove.
